HUD ISSUES RADON GAS AND MOLD RELEASE
A new HUD notice requires that all sales contracts for FHA single-family repossessed properties include an informational release form about the potential health problems associated with radon gas and some molds. The Radon Gas and Mold Notice Release Agreement mitigates potential liability by ensuring that purchasers have received cautionary information. CONTINUING EDUCATION IN JULY

Bryan McNee from American Lending Group in Lexington, Kentucky will be at the NKAR office on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 from 1-4 p.m. presenting "The Economy and Its Relationship to RE Professionals". It counts for 3 hours of elective CE credit for Kentucky. Fee is $25 for members and $50 for non-members.

Things covered in the seminar will be how mortgage rates are determined, dynamics between bonds and stocks, how to decipher daily and weekly economic reports to determine their effect on mortgage rates and housing demand, what Japanese Candlesticks are and how they can be used to accurately predict changes in trends and what the economic outlook is for 2004 and 2005.
