2015 Outpacing 2014 Home Sales- Good News for NKY!

 

Florence, KY – October 22, 2015- The Northern Kentucky Association of REALTORS® and The
Northern Kentucky Multiple Listing Service report today that at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2015, sold housing statistics outpaced 2014 numbers in all tracked categories- the number of sales are up by 3.58% (4,743- 4,579); average sold prices are higher by 5.54% ($163,611-$155,016); median prices are higher by 6.34% ($142,500-$134,000); dollar volume of sold properties is up by 9.32% ($776,006,934 - $709,819,728) and finally, the days on market for sales to close went from 80 to 73. Considering three-fourths of 2015 is behind us, it’s easy to predict another record year for housing gains for Northern Kentucky. Looking at the month of September, we see similar growth in prices although the number of sales was even for the month over month comparison.
