How do I get a real estate license?

The first step in getting a real estate license is to contact the Kentucky Real Estate Commission at 888-373-3300 or www.krec.ky.gov

If I just passed the real estate test, can I join the Association?

Yes, you can join our Association if you are currently affiliated with a Member Broker.

How much are dues?

The dues you pay are based on your level of membership with our Association (Designated REALTOR®, Non-Designated REALTOR,® or Affiliate).

When are the annual dues due?

Annual All Inclusive Invoices are sent out in March of each year.

When is new member orientation?

New member orientation is usually offered once a month. However, we encourage you to contact the Association to confirm for the specific month in question.

How do I get an electronic Supra key?

When you join our Association you have the opportunity to lease an electronic key to access Supra keyboxes. Please note that your key service charges are included in our Annual All Inclusive Invoice sent out on March 1st. As a convenience, you can also subscribe to this service on your Iphone, Android or most Blackberry.

The Northern Kentucky Association of REALTORS® prorates its dues quarterly based on the month you join our Association. Below is a total amount due for each month..

Affiliates are individuals or companies who, while not engaged in the real estate profession, have interests requiring information concerning real estate, and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Association.

Membership Dues: $250.00 annually

Prorated Dues: Jan – Mar $250.00 Apr– Jun $200.00 Jul– Sept $125.00 Oct– Dec $75.00

Affiliates are individuals of firms who, while not engaged in the real estate profession, have interests requiring information concerning real estate, and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Association.

Additional Affiliate contacts are employees of, or associated with, Affiliate members and are employed by or associated with the same firm as the Affiliate member. The Affiliate member must be in good standing with the Association in order for an additional Affiliate contact member to apply for and maintain membership.
